The transparency on my promo are only for temporary, and the checkers should be gone once I take the transparency out?
I am re-doing a promo (file) that was converted from Quark file. When I was re-doing the promo, I have to do the layout (50%) and do copy and paste (50% - the images). When I usually finish a page, gray and white checkers will appear on the page icon (in the the page palette area/section)...
How come after I did that clipping path method (to take the product shot out of the background), the resolution appears to be poorly? When I open the file as an individual, it looks okay ... however, when I place it on InDesign, the picture's resolution looks horrible. What's going on???
I am kinda confused with the layer mask so I did the clipping path method. It works, but I don't get why the pic came out so poorly ... like it has bad resolution.

Well I just emailed the printing company and see if they can save it to Quark 4. They are going to do their best to convert it so I can work on it.
You would think upgrade is a good thing ... but boy, what a drag with this!!!
When it becomes an EPS file, then the only I can edit it is to use the Adobe Illustrator.
