If this is a windows 2000 professional machine it will need a profile setupon it,meaning that you will have to set up an account on the machine and give it rights. Your login names for Novell and Windows will be different maybe.- 1bt1

Adding a file server to NDS
Thanks for your response. What I meant by authenticating to to the server is I did not think I would need to put NDS on it. Like AD in Windows world you would authen. to AD and run apps from a diff server. Authentication taking place in AD on one server not all. The one app I know I will be...- 1bt1

I have been asked to add a server to an exsisting tree. Our clients hard drive is filling up and they would like to move one or two applications only to this new server.
