It sounds like you might have several copies of Paradox executables -- which could make troubleshooting tricky. It's very possible to have paradox on the C: drive, but still accessing the network (which might explain your situation). See if you can hunt down all copies locally and on the...
That's a little tricky. One way might be to scan through the table, and build the script for the dialog box. Then write it out to a script file (.sc), and call it from your main script. This wouldn't be my first option, but if you really want the dialog to change based on records in the...
Are your drive letter mappings the same as they used to be under Novell? Paradox is a little sensitive to changes like that, so if you used to use P:\..., try using the same letters in the Win Network.

Paradox is sensitive to drive letter assignments. So even if W: and P: are mapped to the exact same drive and folder, you'll get this message. All users must use the same drive letter, path, etc. If they all match exactly, it should work.

Make sure you have plenty of hard drive space (at least 50-100mb free for a large query). If it's running out of memory, check your windows shortcut settings for the Paradox icon.
Right click the icon and choose Properties. Under the memory tab, try the following settings:

Probably the easiest way is to create a report, and send this report to a file. That gives you control over wrapping to several lines, and using any character or characters you want to separate fields.

Actually, Steve Green will just tell you to immediately rewrite your application in Windows, and offer his services to do this. I don't experience this problem running in the same environment, so it may be one of the settings. Check settings for preventing DOS apps from seeing windows, memory...
Yes, when you buy the full version of Acrobat, it installs like a printer. Then you just print to the "acrobat" printer from any windows program to create the PDF file.

PARADOX -EXTK 4000 might work instead, depending on the operating system you're using. What version of DOS or Windows are you running? Also, no offense, but if you put periods at the end of your sentences it would be a LOT easier to read. Thanks!

Yes, you can fix this. Novell has a feature where you can limit the amount of drive space a particular user (or all users) see. It doesn't affect the disk, but will fool Paradox into thinking it's a smaller drive. Your novell admin should be able to easily do this for you.

During entry or conversion, the birth dates probably got entered as 20.. dates instead of 19.. To test this, pick one record, and re-enter the birthdate using all 4 digits (i.e. 1960), then check that record and see if this corrects the problem. If so, just make sure to enter all dates as 4...
Sometimes the Paradox.Net file is pointing somewhere else (like another drive) and that drive might be out of space even though your server has plenty. Same is true for your Paradox temp directory, which you can specify. Try checking both of those.
