When I run a report in Paradox sometimes the fields that contain calculations appear blank when I am viewing them on the computer. But, when I print the report the calculations are all there and look fine. Why can't I view my answers on the computer?

More info needed to answer. Are you running a script, or just printing a straight report? What version of Paradox?

I am just running a straight report and I am using Paradox 8. I create the calculations in the fields I need with no problem. When I view the report after I have run it, the fields which contain calculations appear to be blank. But, when I print the report the product of the calculations are all there as they should be. I have to print the report before I can see the products of the calculations.

I know zilch about Paradox but have struck a similar problem with FileMaker Pro.
FMP has a bad habit of randomly deciding that the text colour in a field is white. (I am probably being unfair to FMP but it happens somehow.)
And a million thanks to you, because writing this has cleared my head enough to work out how it happens in FMP - user error.
