I don't know this product but would imagine that verifying the keycode against some sort of security device would be part of the boot up process, if its dropped the license & rebooted I cant think of anything/ anyone other than Avaya being able to help unless you have a full system backup...
I would probably factory default the affected MGC's to the gold image & re-install them, adding all the IP info & add them back to the system(outside of the sec domain), then force it all back in to the sec domain

You cant back up the software. You will need to download load a copy of it & your dep/patch list. I have a copy somewhere I'll have a look for you & let you know (somebody else may have one closer to hand)

MGC's came in at RLS 5.0, & I thought you need to have a PTY/TTY configured against the specific MGC loop. You could always use a cross over cable plugged in to the one of the CT/ Tlan ports, give yourself a free address in the TLAN subnet & use putty.
Just a thought

it won't be in the general NTP's, RLCs were rare as rocking horse droppings. The error codes would be in the RLC NTP's

Your right Trason, but how many times do you think people hit enter after the error message & skip the prompt they wanted & then swear at the screen. Makes me laugh every time, unless its me (Doh)
