This could be caused by a number of issues, but noticing his problems authenticating on that particular server it looks like it may be a domain authenticiation issue/AD issue which could be:

I thought that once exchange 5.5 was removed that ADC was no longer a requirement but just needed to be sure, and the exchange info on the DC's isn't a real requirement so I'll just leave it be.
