Here is the latest. The pink halo was finally exercised from my document, after I saved it as a TIFF file (sent it as a TIFF at 400 DPI). When I got the proof back from print, the quality looked blurry. I can't save as a PDF because it prints the pink halo. Any other ideas, or do you think...
I opened the ai file in Photoshop and saved it as a tiff. I then printed and it looks like it lost alot of quality but the halo is gone.
If there a way to keep the same quality?
The fonts are fine, it looks like you can see where the transparency (I have two vector photoshop images in my doc) is draining the color out of the grey box, I have where they are over lapping.
My PDF I saved from the last post problem I had prints fine off of my mac, but terrible when I print it from my office PC. Any ideas on how I can fix it so it will print fine from the PC (the dept. print shop uses PC).
Any suggestions would be great. I am really frustrated and need this to go...
I recently saved an Illus. File as a PDF. I printed it out on my apple and it looked great. When I opened it on my office computer (PC) it looked bad and the trouble that I had spent all day fixing showed up when I printed.
I don't know why it looks fine on one and bad on the other. Same PDF...
ok got it, here is how:
with the help of the clipping mask I was able to then cancel the drop shadow on the image. I took two different shapes (sent them to the back) and put them on the edges where I wanted the shadow (as long as they were over the color I was ok). All good now.
Thank...
Well the clip mask worked, but not with the drop shadow on. If you just turn off the drop shadow and then print (halo). If you use the clipping mask and then take off the drop shadow(no halo). But I really need the drop shadow to help my image stand out.
Any ideas on this one now that we have...
blueark.
The images are fine. I created them in photoshop. But like you mentioned earlier, I think that they are a transparency problem. Because the halo is in the outline (only on the color box) of the box that the imported raster image came with.
Here is what I have thus far. I deleted the two images and print to make sure they were the source of the problem. Which they seem to be becauause there is no halo. I copied and pasted the image's into sep. illus files and I am opening them in photoshop to check the levels and curves.
I...
Is there a way to open my Illus. File in photoshop and fix it that way. I deleted one of the images and then printed and the hole is now only around that one image I created in photoshop.
yeah, I changed them and interesting this is a front a back piece and the halo on the back is gone after messing with the drop shadow but the one on the front is still glowing.
