We have SP6a on our 35 pan european servers. All working fine (touch's some wood!. Its worth looking at the security patches / rollup thats available, you may want to install it. Not sure if this requires SP6a to be installed though.

Try Somarsoft's DUMPACL (www.somarsoft.com) although I think the app's name may have changed. Its a free download and shows you alot of information on users/files/folders/shares and permissions associated to them.
