The problem was in using a partial key to reach a record, this was solved by using RECORD-KEY >= 'PARTIAL-KEY%' as the "Condition" (Ver. 4)

Could it be that you executed but did not close the sample? This leaves the linkfile in use so that it cannot be written to, producing an error. Everyone does it. 8-)
