I recently installed the free v3 compiler, however; when I attempt to link I get the no find on file error U1052 on "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP". I in fact do have the file. What gives?

Did this happen the very first time you tried to link, or did you manage at least one successful link first?

I hestitate to say yes, but I believe I did or at least executed one of the samples. By the way I am WindowsME.

Could it be that you executed but did not close the sample? This leaves the linkfile in use so that it cannot be written to, producing an error.

Everyone does it.
