The database is brand new, so when the job starts it's 2MB. When the job finishes the databsae summary has the size at 14MB. The amount of memory in the server is 256MB . Cheers Graham

Sorry, I should have said it's Arcserve 7 clients on both the NetWare 5.1 and 6 servers. We haven't yet upgraded the Arcserve server to Netware 6, apparently that wil be done later. The volumes on the upgraded servers are traditional NetWare volumes. G.
