I got it to work finally. My version 8 was corrupt. Installed 9 CS and it works ok now.

Forgot to mention that I'm using the Windows Logon instead of Client For Microsoft Networks as my Primary Network Logon. also have the Start/Logon box removed from the Start menu. I did it through the registry. No problem to put it back if needed.
