The MCP does still exist. What you need to look at is what certification exam number the course you are about to take prepares you for. Then check to make sure that certification is not retired or soon to be retired.
I hope that helps.

I use to be running all my printers from a 4.11 NetWare server. You might try logging in as a user who you know is still getting a banner page, go to Control Panel\GSNW and look to see if Print Banner page is still checked. I always had to uncheck it for each user account I created, but I always...
I'm running TSE 4.0 SP6, MF 1.8 SP3. I'm having several issues which I've been able to narrow down to being caused due to the fact that several users do not have the "Temp" varibale defined under Environmental Variables. It is effecting several existing users and all new users that are...

My old boss (the previous Systems Administrator) and I had tried this...
Thanks that makes sense. The only thing I was concerned about in doing that is that my Default User profile that the user receives seems to reside in %systemroot%\profiles on the Metaframe boxes. I had thought it got pulled from the centralized roaming profile location but I was wrong. I...
I'm having a huge problem here with roaming profiles, policies and logins. Here is the scenario:
My network is supporting about 100-120 users currently. I have 2 Metaframe 1.8 servers running on NT TSE 4.0. I am implementing roaming profiles and policies. The problem I have run into is that the...
I am running two Metaframe 1.8 servers on TSE 4.0. I am implementing roaming profiles stored on a separate file server and user policies that control what desktop settings the users see when they log on depending on their job function.
My understanding is that when logging into the Metaframe...
