Does MCP stillexist?

I have been all over the web and can't figure out if Microsoft's MCP certification still exists or if it has been swallowed up in another Microsoft certification. As I'm scheduled to start a course in same I don't know if I'm wasting my time or not.

The MCP does still exist. What you need to look at is what certification exam number the course you are about to take prepares you for. Then check to make sure that certification is not retired or soon to be retired.
