Wescoosoft, the answer is no to your first two questions, and don't believe anyone is deleting data, however its possible.
FredUG, no problems on virus scan.
The way its happening makes me believe it maybe RAM also. Bad DIMM possibly? I will check this and see what happens.
I have a WIN2K server that is losing data. Basically a file here and there. Seems it maybe memory is leaking. Anyone have any ideas on how I can resolve this problems. Thanks
I was wondering whether it's possible to boot a WIN2k from DOS. (EXAMPLE) I can ping server but can't remote into server. Not being a Guru on Dos it seems that there should be a command to do this.

Sorry for the confusion, I was wanting to know whether SQL 6.5 would work on Win2k and how I would tranfer the Database info from nt4 server to a new win2k server.
I have a NT4 server running SQL 6.5. Not being overly familiar with SQL 6.5, my question is how can I migrate or upgrade SQL 6.5 to win2k server? Will I need to upgrade to SQL 7.0 or later, is there a SP for SQL 6.5 for win2k clients? I've already set win2k server
Thanks
When I select START, RUN, PRINTERS WIN2K PRO stops. It only does it on the above. I am unable to see printers or print. Stopping and starting explorer unlocks.
