Is the TS a great advantedge over Remote Desktop?

Hi all, I am hoping to setup a 2k3 server with TS. I have 4 servers in all and I have a VPN tunnel through a firewall to a different server. Do I need another static IP adress from the outside to be able to access the TS? I want to be able to run our accounting package from a remote location.

I have the Overwrite Protection set to NONE and the Append is set to 4 weeks. So I would think that it should create a new file every week.

We the Exchange Agent on this server and the Open File Option is on all servers. I just want 4 weeks worth of files in one folder.

Currently the Overwrite Protection is set to None and Append is set to 4 weeks. Its the same on all the servers, the other two servers are working just fine. I just don't see why this one is different.

I have the B2D folder size set to 50GB, but the file size is only about 12GB. I just need it to keep more of the older files. I would like 4 Monday files, 4 Tuesday files....etc. So I will always be able to access 4 weeks worth of backups in any folder.

Is there any way to get email from a backup tape that does not use any kind of Exchange agent? I have to "Open File" option, so the databases should get backed up. Will I need another server to restore them to. I don't want to loose the mail that is currently there.

Its Exchange 2000 and I have copies of the *.edb files and the logs. No backups.

nlm9802, Thanks for the info, that should work. So on the system with the shared connection, I should configure both nics to see the 192.168.0 network. The ICS will take care of the 192.168.0.1 address and I will assign a static to the other? or can I use one nic?
