    Are you doing a cross restore here, if so then you would need to set the parameter to allow resetting of soft and hard links, this maintains original permissions.

    Hi Not that I'm aware of, the only way i know is to start the restore and check the log file created to see what tapes are being requested to complete the restore.

    Netback expiry dates

    One way to see what tapes have expired is by running /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/available_media command this will show you what tapes are available for re-use
