Our switch is a CS1kE running R7.5, their switch is Mitel 3300 MCD6.0
The good old DPNSS link between us has worked for years, till they upgraded. Calls from us to them are fine, it's the Mitel that gets it wrong coming the other way when the extension they call on our CS1kE is forwarded. It...
Thanks for the replies guys.
I for one wasn't keen on using DASS, as already mentioned it's for exchange links but their maintainer asked that we try as apparently it's common for the Mitel engineers use DASS between their switches???
Anyway we've had another session of tinkering with various...
Hi All,
Wonder if you guys can help out with an issue we're experiencing...
Long story short is we've moved HQ recently and are trying to re-establish a link between our switch and a partners. Used to be DPNSS but they requested a change to DASS due to an issue their end. We've got the circuit...
I don't send it to an agent. Should have explained the ext. we route the calls to it sat beside me. I just play them the odd sound effect from whatever sound board I can get up in time.
I just wanted to automate the process - bit of a fight back to what seems to be an unstoppable onslaught of...
Hi guys
Our Kit: CS1000E, Contact Centre 8 (AACC6) and CallPilot 4.0
Long story short here:
We have been bombarded lately with scam callers and ambulance chasers slowly making their way through our DDI ranges.
I've got the contact centre setup to scan calls going to our reception team for...
Thanks all, worked like a charm. Although I note that it doesn't pickup the ACD queue lable. Must only be the internet phones that have that feature.
Thanks again...
Ok great, there's only really one 3904 set used in the whole company which just so happens to be the main reception phone so I can't tinker with it much as it's always in use. Only thing is I'm migrating reception team on to CC this weekend and the 3904 is the only set I've never acquired into...
Hi guys,
Sorry had to down tools as we had a wireless link down on another part of the network. Sorry should explain I am both a voice and data engineer hence I only have moderate understanding of Meridian/IPline/VX Works etc. I understand the port mirror setup it's just the switches this...
Thanks for the advice so far guys.
Decided to have a trip out to site to run some tests...
We're only getting one way comms between IP and digi/analogue sets. Tried a digi to analogue test and it works perfectly. Am strongly suspecting the media card now.
I jumped on to the sig sever on site...
Done a bit more diggin' and it seems that both the ELAN and TLAN ethernet interfaces on the MC are not responding to ping.
I'm thinking the media adaptor on the back of the cab now ? ?

Wonder if anyone can shed some light on this for me:
I have a CS1000B that every so often only gives one way comms on the digi and analogue sets attached to the system i.e. when on site I can hear the far end but they can't hear me.
It's setup like this:
Card# Type
4 32Port Media Card
3...
Hi Peter
We had the same problem a while back. Only way we found was to jump into LD 80 and TRAC <tn> the extensions to look for GHD key being active (or CFW key as this also removes them from the hunt group). Obviously this is going to be quite difficult across multiple...
Hi All
I've been asked to look at upgrading our CC6 solution to CC7 at some point in the near future.
Just wondered if anyone here has gone through the process and could offer any advice / opinions / suggestions etc.
Thanks in advance.
Richard
Perhaps you can create a phantom DN/TN and have the default call forward (DCFW) number set to the destination?
Then everyone rings the phantom and the phantom TN forwards the call to the destination hence always using the same number?
Just a thought - might be a better way ? ?
Rich
I've had the same problem. Best work around I found was to manually give it the IP address the DHCP server was assigning it, reboot a few times then set back to DHCP. Works 9/10 for my old i2002's and i2004's.
Regards,
Rich
Ah, makes sense now...
No crash so far, wondering if there's any mileage in sending the suspect card off for testing in isolation?
My concern is they share switching fabric which could mask the problem if the fault were to lie in that area. I suppose I could pull the suspsect card if it does...
Morning guys,
Yeah, the active CPU card just locks up. Can't get anything from the card at all on any of the ports, management, serial, modem, SNMP etc. Won't respond to ping, can't make any routing decisions, become a VRRP master etc. However the strange thing is the PP keeps on switching...
