    AutoCAD 2004 MS Office issue

All, I need to find out if there is a way to repress the creation of the \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office 10 folder...Our network security folks have determined some of the files are a security risk and not required if Office 2003 is installed. Each time AutoCAD 2004...

We have a growing problem with Office 2003 installs. A little background first...we work in a very large enterprise environment. We were provided, by our headquarters, a copy of Office 2003, with transforms, to use from a network share to perform clean installs. These are fresh installs...

All, We have several 2000 boxes that have an Explorer issue. If we open Explorer (not IE) the left pane, the one that usually shows the folder structure, is solid and all that is available is the X in the upper corner of the folder view. Another strange thing is, if I switch View|Explorer...

    Lost Printer Port

Valid question mawilson...1st we are directed to by the level II folks (which means do it but we don't have any support built into the process) and it really makes sense since many of our sites are geographically separated from the building that houses the servers. Now the print jobs stay at...

I found a good description of what steps occur when W2K starts up but does anyone know of a good reference for what happens after a user logs on, especially onto a domain. Specifically, I am looking at what point hives are loaded...this is all in an attempt to speed up user log ons. TIA!

Netgear FVS318 VPN with windows 2000 server network

Why is it required to use WINS in a 2000 environment or am I assuming too much? Are you using DNS and allowing for DDNS? Is your domain in native or mixed mode? If your domain is set up with DDNS (and it is working) and AD is set up you shouldn't have to use WINS for name resolution? DO you...
