    Formatting a Percent

I knew it had to be something simple that I was just overlooking. Thanks much!

    Formatting a Percent

Using CR/CE 10, is there any way to format a number as a percent (other than putting the field in a text box and then putting a % sign after it). Am I totally missing something? This seems like a pretty basic, common format that I would think would be used by a lot of people. Thanks, Mark

Possible to Link to "View Latest Instance"

I'll dig in to that and see what I can find. One other thing that I neglected to mention is that if the hyperlink is to something outside of Crystal, then the both I and the other user can successfully access it.

They can run it directly from CE. You mentioned 2 things to try, am I missing 1?

How to sort by group totals

Working with CE/CR 10, Oracle direct connect. I am attempting to do a rather simple report but am having problems. The report shows the number of incidents reported in 2 diff. project phases. I want the projects with highest totals to show at top. What I want to achieve is something like ...

    concatenate with null values

That's what I'd do too. Check your fields first with the ISNULL function

Possible to Link to "View Latest Instance"

This worked, to a degree. I was able to put a hyperlink in to another report on the CE server and it worked fine for me. Other users (with the same perms as me - Full Control) were not able to use the links. They always got the following Crystal error: Retreive Error There was an error while...

    Show/Hide Group Tree defaults

Thanks very much! It works just like I was hoping.

    Show/Hide Group Tree defaults

I'm using CR/CE 10 with an Oracle db via direct connect. Reports in Crystal format are by default SHOWing the Group tree. My users never use it so it's just taking up real estate on their monitors and every time they open a report, the first thing they do is click on the icon to hide this. Is...

Possible to Link to "View Latest Instance"

I'm using CR/CE 10 with an Oracle db, direct connect. I have a summary report in which I would like to include links to detailed reports. I have included them as on-demand sub-reports and while this technically works, my users get frustrated by the time it takes for them to run. Can I have...

    Shared Array in Subreport issues

    I just noticed a typo in the code I wrote... shared stringvar array valid_app; valid_app [{#RTotal0}] :={ALL_LISTS.AL_DESCRIPTION} should have read... shared stringvar array valid_app; valid_app [{#RTotal0}] :={DBTABLE.APP_NAME}

    Shared Array in Subreport issues

I've used a number of Shared array's for similar purposes and the approach that I've found to be successful is this. In the report header of the main report put a subreport who's sole purpose is to populate your array. In the report header of the subreport put a formula to DIM your array (see...

    Formatting Title of OnDemand Sub-reports

I posted this previously in the "Business Objects: Crystal Reports 4 Other topics", but got no replies so I'm re-posting here. My apologies if this is a no-no. Environment: CR/CE 10, Oracle db, direct connect I have been unable to format the titles of my on-demand subreports as I would like...

    Formatting Title of On-Demand Sub-report

Environment: CR/CE 10, Oracle db, direct connect I have been unable to format the titles of my on-demand subreports as I would like. Under Format Subreport, I can change the color and font size and that works fine. When I attempt underlining, however, it looks fine in CR, but when run from CE...
