    I have no idea why you are getting the message, but it is related to your Intel Ether Express NIC. Perhaps it is built onto the motherboard. Perhaps HP included special drivers for it in the drivers you have to add for HP.

    I never found that OpenServer disliked PCI. With 3rd party cards such as a PCI parallel port, I have never found drivers for SCO. Drivers are generally written by the vendor and supplied with the product or provided to SCO to include with the product. Many small vendors only write Windows...

    It sounds like he may have the Host edition, not the Enterprise edition. The Host edition does not include TCP and related drivers.
