That is what I have restored it too. It is basically a combination of laziness on the end users part and sheer call volume in combination that led to this problem. Thanks to all of the people who have helped on this issue. Your suggestions have been great, but unfortunately it does not look like...
Thank you for that information. Unfortunately our system is not that up to date. (no release 7 for us :( ) And it is not likely that we will be upgrading any time soon as the college I work for just purchased a new phone system that we will be slowly migrating the whole campus to. I will just...
Sorry I was unclear in what I meant. If more than one person is calling that number yet no one has picked up yet (so 2 people attempting to call in) they will both be able to be picked up? My problem with one MCR is that only one person can call in at a time.
That is exactly what I was thinking of doing, is have 1 phone with 4 MCR's and lhk to the last MCR. My concern is if they are all busy where does the voicemail go?
I am working on changing a setup for a group of phones, all of which are M3904's. The end user wants all of the phones in the set to ring when a call comes in. The only way to do that, that I know of is to create an MCR and put it on every phone. The problem I am running into is that if more...
As far as I know right now this will work correctly on all the phones as soon as I finish the 38 time blocks X.X I tested it two ways once while no one was on the phone in question and once while the phone was in use and it went to voicemail after 4 rings in the first case, and immediately...
Ok right ... I feel like a complete idiot now. I think that using SFA has fixed my problem that I was having previously, but for the sake of better understanding I'll just ask this. The number I am forwarding to is key 3 on each individual's phone. As far as I know the only that has changed...
I have 7 phones that are part of an ACD Queue that will soon become part of a day / time rotation. An example of one of those sets is in the first code block below. Right now I have a primary ACD number 6004 that rings to voicemail and hits a call pilot program that then plays a message and...
My company has just gotten a call center. I currently have two ACD lines that used to ring like regular ACD's with approx 12 people in each ACD Queue. Those ACD's are now NCFW to the external call center. My question is when people call those ACD lines that are forwarded to the call center, will...
Thank you for that offer, but I will stay with the phones that we have. I'm also looking into the idea of creating an application through call pilot application builder, but I need it to have a reduced amount of ringing (2 per phone) if they are going to be in a call chain. If nothing else I do...
Unfortunately I work for the state, so they only allow to do things their way which means buy it from -> site A (there is no B) and -> it has to be new.
Yea I wish we could just upgrade the phones but they said that was not an option. I'll figure out some alternative if there is no way to do it with these phone types.
