If its a new 2k client you should have no problem.
Start of by creating a user account on the nt server. Then from the client log on as a local administrator, then start, setting, network and dial-up connections, advanced, network-id and follow the wizard or properties and do it manually...

Thanks for the help. I don't think it is the powersupply as I have left the server on test for a weekend running diags. The modem is a possibility.

Make sure the Win 95 pc is in the same workgroup as the windows 98 pc that is sharing the printer. If you are using Tcp/ip make sure you are in the same network and subnetmask.
If this fails you could always use a network print server box e.g. Hp jetdirect and setup direct Tcpip printing...

Hello, I had the same problem and this configuration cured it. I think all you need it to tell the dialer to use your access-list, in you case "dialer-list 1 protocol ip list 121" Hope it helps
