On the GoldMine Install CD there is an installer for the stored procedures. I can't remember how they refer to it. I think they called it Business Logic.
When you say set up everyone using Internet email do you mean that you are doing this with Exchange or do you mean with an ISP hosted POP3 mailboxes?
Thanks
I gather from your research that you were unable to find a simpler way to eliminate the "on behalf of". I suspected as much because the client has made a lot of noise hoping the people who set up the exchange server could change this and nothing has happened for weeks.
There is a separate install for the stored procedures. Here is a page that you can download them from courtesy of Richard Young of Prior Analytics:

Look for gmsprocs.zip
marcs41 replied to an earlier message that I accidentally posted to Exchange 2000 but it was moved - perhaps to an Outlook 2003 forum. I looked up his replies to similiar messages and found this:
<<The mailbox HAS to be openened within the Account settings of Exchange: Open another Mailbox...
I have a client who emails from three businesses. They recently migrated from 3 pop accounts to an inhouse Exchange Server 2003. The integrator who set up their Exchange 2003 server has it set up so when the user sends emails from their main business email account the email is sent from...
I would only run SQL Server 2000 SP3 on Windows Server 2003. SQL Server 6.5 is pretty cranky even running on NT 4.

Did you check the Group rather than Record in the same menu. You can filter at the group level also.

I would go to Pull down menu Report>>Edit Selection Formula>>Record. You will get a window that will most likely show this: {ContHist.RECTYPE} = "T" and possibly other selection criteria. Rather than including all rectypes you will probably want set the report to select a subset of them.

Both GoldMine dBase and SQL hold the user data in a dBase file called users.dbf in the root GoldMine directory.

I would setup a SQL query:
SELECT
company
,contact
,zip
,accountno
FROM
contact1
WHERE
key1 = 'X'
AND key2 = 'Y'
ORDER BY zip
You can then build a group on this sql query if you need to operate on it inside GoldMine.
SQL queries like this execute in under a second for 100k contacts. As...
A database was customized in SQL Server 2000. A SQL Server 7 user can't upgrade to SQL Server 2000 but wants to use the database. Does anyone know how to convert the database back to version 7? It is a database for a commercial package that is quite elaborate and wouldn't not be worth converting...
Created a test parent and child database and found that my code works there - The problem was very strange pk-fk combination with case sensitive and upper ascii characters included. The primary key is a substring of the foreign key (foreign key is longer so that it can double as a record...
I've used Set Relation to relate a parent to child and I'm attempting to update all child records with a value from the parent record. I can get it to update the first of the child records for each parent but if there is more than one child record those don't get updated.
Here's the code
