Try restarting all Bu exec services. It worked on me.

I had same kind of problem, but I had changed the password of bu exec's account. I had to use attach as... command from media server. Check your bu exec account's access rights. Good luck!

I need to stop databases and copy them to another location before back up. I have a script for this, but can I run Pre-job commands trough Remote Agent or do I have to schedule those commands locally on servers?
