    XP slowing......

    i had the same problem i ran a virus scan first no good i then ran my spy program and found a load of junk that was slowing it down.if you haven't got this type of program run msconfig.to stop unwanted programes running.

    have you got copy on the fly checked?it copy,s every thing to the hard drive first.also check you have not done a test and burn. good luck

    windows xp pro shut down

    please help when i shut down xp or restart it just hangs for about 10 min.there are no confliks i can see i heard ther was a patch for this?i can't find it any ideas.
