I would like to know how to trap performance statistics for connections to a particular SQL Server 7.0 database.
I am looking for info on CPU, rows read, number of connections, duration of connection, and whatever else I can get for each user process attached to a database.

DBM is database manager (ie/ instance)
There are various config parameters and monitor switches that apply to each of those 2 objects....
you are reporting a tcp/ip error in your message.
this usually means that you have a catalog issue on your client and can't see your target db, or if you are on AIX maybe you have not set the DB2COMM environment variable to TCPIP.
