I am in desperate need of some assistance please.

Whilst attempting to LOAD FROM a CSV file to a table in DB2 I get errors. The database falls over. Please please help, the load command is too long to post here, so if you e-mail me I will forward the details to you.....

Here is the error message I get, but I believe this is a secondary issue; after the DB has fallen over ! :

SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol
being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location
where the error was detected: "10.254.144.53". Communication function
detecting the error: "recv". Protocol specific error code(s): "10054", "*",
"0". SQLSTATE=08001

I am sure someone will come to my aid .....

In anticipation

immi

you are reporting a tcp/ip error in your message.

this usually means that you have a catalog issue on your client and can't see your target db, or if you are on AIX maybe you have not set the DB2COMM environment variable to TCPIP.

Anyway, I need more info to help you. I don't think it is the LOAD, but won't know without more info.
