    Hi, How you are making the normal user as root i think it depends on that .Just do this steps go in /etc/passwd and make Account id smae as root and than try it. for ex: root:!:0:0::/:/usr/bin/ksh xyz:!:0:2:/:/usr/bin/ksh Hope this will help you out in your problem. Good luck kiran.

    Yaa it should work .Even i tried in my Environment it is going great.As far as performance issuse you will get good in jfs2. Thanks. Kiran
