Hello together.

I have a large problem. The problem consists of which is different the times. If I announce myself as root I have another time as if I than user XYZ announce myself. Can someone help me?

Example Output

root: Thu Oct 16 23:07:04 MSZ 2003
User XYZ: Wed Aug 25 19:34:19 MSZ 2004

But when i use the su - command to login as root, the date outpout is correct.

AIX 5L 5.2-03

Hi,
How you are making the normal user as root i think it depends on that .Just do this steps go in /etc/passwd and make Account id smae as root and than try it.
for ex:
root:!:0:0::/:/usr/bin/ksh
xyz:!:0:2:/:/usr/bin/ksh

Hope this will help you out in your problem.

Good luck

kiran.

Hi,
i have found this problem.
you must update the firmware of the p650. There is an error in the firmware if you do DLPARing with CUod CPUs. The time can not synchronize. I have updated the firmware and now all is running.
