    Huge log files

    Circular logging will remove these files but has its drawbacks - there are articles on these drawbacks. I would prefer ensuring you have good backups as this will also remove the files and will assist in a more complete restore if required.

    Just joined this site and it looks fine. The answer is yes what you want to do is possible and I have done it. There are a few steps you need to carry out eg. build the server with same SPs etc on the same network, different name - do not join the org but use the exact (directory names) names...
