Thanks guys.
Actually whenever I run the program, this error message appears: run-time error R6003 - integer divide by 0
I think I found the source codes and I tried re-compiling it again under Win2K using blinker and rtlink. It resulted in the same error message.
Thanks Bozz, I have already given the appropriate value for files in config.nt. I also have checked the linked that you gave. Can you please further clarify the solution for CPU hogging? Using the same CPU and Windows 98, the program works fine but with Win2k it doesn't work. Is there anything I...
Thanks everyone for your comments. I was able to solve my problem. The 2-nics solution didn't work. I also tried to change the ip address of the nic but it didn't work also. The W2k advanced server by default has a nic of 10.10.1.1. I guess I had to edit the registry which I saw was harder than...
thanks vbrocks.
i'll try your advice. won't there be any conflict with the two nics?
Please correct me if i'm wrong. this is based on your advice. the first nic will be the ics nic and the second nic will be the one to connect to the w2k advanced server. what will be the subnet and the gateway...
Thanks Palagast.
I have to point out that the main server is the w2k advanced server. it has the default ip of 10.10.1.1 (my mistake earlier i wrote 10.10.10.1). i need the pc with the ics to connect to the w2k server. if i configure the pc to obtain the ip address automatically, it can connect...
Thanks gensan.
What do you mean by 2 nics? If you meant that the server has 2 nics, then my reply is no. And if you meant if the PC i am trying to connect to the server has 2 nics, my reply is also no.
The PC I am trying to connect is running Windows 98 with ICS. That is why it has an...
How can my W2k Advanced Server accept and recognized the IP address 192.168.0.1 as part of the domain?
One of my PC in the network is still using Windows 98 with ICS and has the IP address 192.168.0.1? I configured the PC to connect to the W2k Advanced Server in the Properties of Client for...
I have a Windows 2000 advanced server which was configured as the only server in the network. Hence it is the domain controller.
I tried implementing ICS with the server in the past but failed miserably. So what I did was I installed a Windows 98 workstation with ICS and it worked wonders.
Two...

Do you have sample applications that can interact or control Nokia cellphones? If not, anybody who can teach me how to control the Nokia cellphones similar to the Nokia Data Suite software?
How do I change the default 10.10.1.1 which was assigned to my server? I configured it using the Windows 2000 Server Configuration wizard.
I defined my server to be the only server in the network. I already assigned a domain name but I haven't bought a domain name yet. Do I have to...
Nope. I immediately installed SP3 after installing the W2K Advanced Server. I got this problem after trying out several solutions to implement the ICS.
First I tried the simple ICS. When it didn't work I disabled the ICS and tried the NAT service. When it didn't work I tried using Wingate and...
Thanks. I'm using Windows 2000 Advanced Server. I already installed the Service Pack and I uninstalled the DNS Server and re-installed it but I receive the same server
I'm also a newbie with Windows 2000 Server. Last year, I surfed the internet and followed the steps stated in the page below:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/planning/walkthroughs/default.asp
The steps are easy to follow and your server will be up in no time.
Good luck.
The DNS server won't automatically run during boot-up. I tried manually starting it through the Administrative tools and Services options. I encountered the error message "DNS Server is unoperational. Error 6: The handle is invalid."
How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance.
