    If I am understanding correctly, you probably did not use the "Override Action" Commands in the Batch dialog window. You need to have those boxes checkmarked for the file to save. Otherwise you are saving the same file ontop of the last one. Good luck, hope that helps :)

    You could also use your pen tool to create a path around your image then simply mask it. Works good and is fairly easy, provided you make a tight path around the desired image. Hope that helps a bit. :)

    I'm no pro on ID but I've experienced problems going with unflattened PSD's into ID when trying to go to print. The ripped file did not work properly. Some files ripped without issue while others did not, I'd be cautious here. ~GK

    You may try throwing a high contrast curve on the image to see any imperfections, if the retouch was not done smoothly you will know right off the bat. Good Luck :) ~Kit
