OOPs! I spoke too soon!
The report now shows the information I want on the First Page of the Report - ONLY.
I need the header information at the group level. Is there a OnFirstRecord of the Group formula?
Thanks.

I have a report which has several groupings.
Header 1A - I want to print only on the first page of the group.
Header 1B - I want to print on the first page of the group AND on the remainder pages of the group.
Header 2 - print once on each change.
I have been attempting formulas in the...
I want to know if anyone knows how to automatically update the subject line on Meeting Requests. We are using Outlook XP and Exchange 2000.
I am setting up Mailboxes for my conference rooms. I know how to have the conference rooms automatically accept or decline meetings. However, we want to...
I am wondering whether anyone else has found a problem with Comparing two documents?
I can compare the exact same two documents in either Word 2000 or WordPerfect 9 and get appropriate results. However, when performing the Compare and Merge function in Word XP the results are not usable.
What...
I have a database where I have been attempting to relate cases with Attorneys and Insurance Information.
Right now I have four tables:
tblCaseInfo
-txtCaseName - primary key
-txtClientAndFileInfo
-other text and memo fields
tblAttorneyInfo
-txtAssignedAttorneyName - primary key...
I have several databases that I would like to use out of the templates folders similarly to what you can do in Word and Excel.
I want to open an empty / formatted database when the user clicks on File, New - General Templates and immediately force the user to name it with a unique name.
Does...
Yes, I am sorry.
To clarify; I have compared two or more documents together and have tracked and accepted the changes. However Word XP is maintaining the names of the reviewers in the document.
I have found that if I go to the Tools - Options - Security settings, I can remove personal...
I am using Word XP and need to get rid of the listing of reviewers. In Word 97 or 2000 all that was necessary was to accept all the changes to a document to "clean" the document of those types of items. Then just to be sure, we would copy the text into a blank document.
Now in Word...
Thanks so much! That worked just fine, you know how it is when you are experimenting with exercises from a book?
What is the deal with the Visual SourceSafe Client though? That is a new error message and I am not familiar with it.

I have been exploring Access 2002 and have found something, that I have not been able to get an answer about. Perhaps someone here can point me where there is more information.
I have created a macro that opens a form.
I can attach the macro to the onClick event and have the form open...
I have had to modify someone else's form (they are no longer employed by our firm) for a logo change. Now, when the end user executes the Format, Envelope feature in WordPerfect 9, WP finds the address in the tabled letterhead area of the document.
Previously the letterhead was also in a...
Yes, Applying Service Pack SR-1a fixed me up. The below article explains it to some extent.

I hope this works for you too

Thanks for the suggestion. I have created the table. Unfortunately apparently XP works a little differently now.
- The table that I created hid the gridlines.
- When I use the AutoText entry the gridlines are no longer hidden.
- I need shallow margins on the table and indented margins on...
I have created an AutoText entry. Due to formatting requirements (columns) I want to end the AutoText entry with a Continuous Section Break. When I save the New Entry, and then attempt to use that entry; my Continuous Section Break converts into a Next Page Section Break.
Any suggestions?
I have not had a chance to test in Access 2002, but there was definitely a problem in converting from Access 97 to Access 2000. =Date() was specifically one of the problems that I ran into.
The way I got around the problem was to
1. Create a New Blank Database
2. Import all the objects...
Here's what I ended up doing!
'This function will be used in a query to test the values and determine whether the job is late or not.

I am attempting to create a Function for Access 2000 to compare quite a few date fields to decide whether a job is late or not. I have created the following function and am attempting to run from a Query using the fields in the Query to populate the variables. When I run the code, I get the...
Yes, That gets rid of the record. It cut my report down from 8 pages to 2.
Yes, this formula is in the Selection Editor. One thing I did notice is that even though I placed the initial formula on a field called Job - That field is no longer in the list. All the fields in the formula are...
