Do you by any chance have anti-virus software running on that server? I have Etrust InoculateIT with the Exchange option on our mail server, and for some reason if email protection is enabled, I get the same errors...Dont have a solution yet except to disable it while backups are running...so if...
I am having the same problem with a few of my 98 workstations as well...the correct Ino.sam is on the PC, it is discovered on the subnet, but when I try to add it to the organization, I get the same error...the Admin guide and CA site are no help...any info would be greatly appreciated!!
Ive had the same problem - job engine dies about twice a month, usually during normal backup, job has to be restarted and rescheduled...8.5 rev3572 NT4.0...good to see Im not the only one experiencing this....Any info would be great....
