I think I posted to a wrong forum before. This one comes closest, I believe.
Problem: screen before windows setup is a password screen. Went into setup and changed the password and now it accepts both. How do I remedy this so only one is accepted? Dell Optiplex GX150 with MS Win98.
When I start the computer I get a password screen before windows begins setup. That screen accepts 2 passwords. I want it to accept only one. It happened because I went into setup and tried to change the password...now accepts two. Remedy?
Forgive my ignorance...I should have said it was a "setup" password. It comes to the screen before the windows screen. To be more precise, the Dell Optiplex screen comes on, then up comes this request for a password.
