Thanks for the info xmrse, the link only took a couple of seconds for me. I guess I can expect the same amount of support I am used to with NT 4 running Dominos, basically meaning I am on my own again.
We are tired of nT 4.0 and are considering server 2003. We currently run Domino r5 and host our email internally. Does anyone have a cluse if this will work and what problems I may encounter? Other pc's connecting to the server are w98 and ME.
Thanks,
I have heard rumors that server 2003 will run pgms that were supposed to be for nt4 only. Does anyone have any information on this? I would certainly love getting rid of NT in place of 2003 for Domino R5. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dan
The easiest way to do this is to change the system date on your server to a date before the expiration date, and request a recertification and then follow the normal recertification process. Don't forget to change the server date back. You probably want to do this after hours or on a weekend.
Is anyone out there running r5 on a windows server 2003 box that converted from an NT 4 platform? Just wondering what kind of issues you ran into during the migration or after? Thanks,
Dan
Thanks for the response, and sorry to take so long to get back to you. I followed your instructions but when I got to select an item, the MAILDELIVERCDorMIME=1 does not exist in my list. I only "mail" related items I have are the following:
mail_log to miscellaneous events...
There has got to be a simple explanation. When we try sending an email with graphics, the graphics get received as an attachment in the email. I have tried changing our email user preferences "internet mail format" to html from html and plain text but this doesn't seem to do anything...
