failure to backup NT with arcserve for netware

It is possible that you will have to upgrade the ARCserveIT software agents you use for NT/Notes. I run ARCserveIT on NT and backup Novell, and after we upgraded, I had to upgrade all of my agents. Just a thought... hope it helps. :-)

Warning and Errors in our arcserve backup logs

    1) - Do you have the Open Files Agent installed? It is a separate module, unfortunately. Also just a minute possibility: did these files once exist but are no longer there? The backup could still be looking for them... but look at the Open Files Agent first. 2) - Corrupted file? Maybe? 3) -...

    Convert Access2 D.B. to Access97 D.B.

If I understand it correctly, when you convert from 2 to 97, the internal language changes. I've not had much luck "fixing", except by going into the database and manually recreating whatever I needed. Hope someone else out there has better advice!

Can't back up the NetWare servers with 6.5 for NT

Yes, you can back up NetWare from an NT server; I do so on a regular basis. But you do need the appropriate version of the NetWare Push Agent (NWagent) running on your NetWare server. You might also want to have the Open Files Agent installed... For your user field username, try...

Word2000 Startup Folder in Multi-User system

Terry - I belive what you're thinking of is the Profiles folder (c:\winnt\profiles). These contain folders for each user, as well as a folder for All Users, Default User, and Administrator. Maybe that'll help...

Access Forms and a possible automatic field fill

Do you have a table with several field's worth of information? And you want to type in a SSN and then get the name? If so... you want to create a second table with just the SSN and names. Link the two tables together in the Relationships window (drag the SSN field from your small table to the...
