Convert Access2 D.B. to Access97 D.B.

My problem is that I have Converted an Access2 data base into an Access97 data base and I have lost part of the data base in other words part of my program isn't working.
I also have a prolem with the dates (2000 bug).

If I understand it correctly, when you convert from 2 to 97, the internal language changes. I've not had much luck "fixing", except by going into the database and manually recreating whatever I needed. Hope someone else out there has better advice!
