Union query - syntax error in from clause

My conclusion also. I was trying to use existing queries but I'm afraid I have to start from scratch which is not a bad idea. I don't have the time to commit to it right now but I learned something from this exchange and I really appreciate your help and your patience. Thank you.

Union query - syntax error in from clause

Okay, here are the two queries: Query 1: qryMeetingMembersNOTComing_crb SELECT DISTINCTROW qryCompaniesMembers.CoID, qryCompaniesMembers.CoName1, qryMeetingALLRegistrantMembers.StatusID FROM qryCompaniesMembers LEFT JOIN qryMeetingALLRegistrantMembers ON qryCompaniesMembers.CoID =...

Union query - syntax error in from clause

Here is what I have now. SELECT qryMeetingMembersNOTComing_crb.CoName1, StatusID FROM [qryMeetingMembersNOTComing_crb] UNION SELECT qryMeetingMembersNOTComing_crb.CoName1, StatusID FROM [qryMeetingALLRegistrantMembers_NOreminders]; I changed the qryMeetingMembersNotComing_crb to query on the...

Union query - syntax error in from clause

Tried that and the error I get is: The specified field 'B.CoName1' could refer to more than one table listed in the FROM clause of you SQL statement. I think I know what the problem is. The query "qryMeetingMembersNOTComing-crb" is a 'find unmatched query' so the CoName1 field is in the query...

Union query - syntax error in from clause

I do have the correct query names. I entered your code, Remou, and got the error "The specified field ‘CoName1’ could refer to more than one table listed in the FROM clause of you SQL statement." So I added the query name to the CoName1 field. Ran the query and it was having trouble with...

Junk mail update puts good mail in junk mail folder

It is not turned off, but I can't make the calendar go back to August 20, which is when this occurred. I don't know if that is a wise idea anyhow. The only restore point is yesterday.

What about Detect and Repair? Could that possibly help?

Junk mail update puts good mail in junk mail folder

I did reboot after uninstalling. System Restore says there are no restore points.

Junk mail update puts good mail in junk mail folder

I have already removed a junk mail email filter update, not sure if it is the same one. There are only two remaining updates for Microsoft Office - KP907417 OTKLOADER and Service Pack 3. They both say they cannot be removed. There is also the compatibility pack. Would there be anything in...

Junk mail update puts good mail in junk mail folder

I have a problem with good mail going in the junk mail folder. I had the same problem twice before and a technician determined that it was caused by a Microsoft junk mail update. He knew never to apply that update to my PC. My junk mail filter was working very well. Now a new techician...

    Autocorrect problem

It's the sticky key problem! Never thought to look at the keyboard. This was on a co-workers computer. And indeed there was a little glob of gooey stuff between the keys. Thank you all so much for the help.

    Autocorrect problem

When I type a hyphen in Word or Outlook, it changes to an equal sign and a hyphen (=-). Is this an autocorrect problem or is something else going on. I have checked the autocorrect list and there is no entry like that. Anyone have any suggestions?

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

My problem didn't go away. I thought it was too good to be true. Thanks for the comment on the Google toolbar. I think I'll avoid it until I get some resolution on this browsing problem. It's a pain in the neck to constantly have to hit that refresh button.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

I resisted the reset. I don't like to lose my customized settings. But it seems to have resolved the problem, although it did take away my Google toolbar. Maybe that was part of the problem.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

I'm getting this error 50 percent of the time at least a variety of different pages (including my home page - Google), and when I hit refresh the page loads. This problem started occuring around the time we upgraded to Windows XP, brand new server and all. Lately, it seems to have gotten even...

Merging Word document with Access Query

Whoops, never mind, I finally figured it out. In Word, select Tools, Options, General tab and select the Confirm Data Source box. That allowed me to select MS Access Databases via DDE options whwen linking to the Access file, which allowed me to select my parameter query. I also created a...

Merging Word document with Access Query

    Combine data from two queries

No, it wasn't a crosstab. The data in each query/table were totally unrelated. I want to combine the payment information from two different types of payment records.
