T3000 and CBII ver8. What I am seeing is that it takes longer to run a TR3 tape than a 3000xl. Since the TR3 is wider and records more tracks, shouldn't it be working faster? Also running FC20 card.
I have a TR3 that broke near the front end. Is it possible to fix such a tape? I see a series of small holes that are obviously part of the tape and wonder what their importance is. Is it some way of signaling the beginning of the tape to prevent despooling it?
CBII ver 8 for W95,98. Ver9 is Win2K. Ver9.1 is for WME.
Also when trying to install versions of the earlier CBW and CBW for W95, you must remove every trace of prior software including if you installed MSBackup for W98, which is different then W95. Also you may need MSBackup for W98 installed...
Concerning T3000, When you upgraded to W98, the previous MSBackup was replaced and it is imcompatible with CBW. You have to remove every trace of it from the machine including the registry prior to installing CBW. An alternative is to install the MSBackup and try it. And then subsequently CBII...

I have yet to see such a program in the US. Credit card exchange is always required and unless specifically stated in warranty instant exchange policy you may pay shipping costs. Sometimes the shipping cost makes it a better deal to buy new even though you may have warranty. Example is with...
CB11 ??? Check your version and post back. You might check the installed files and see if you can tell who actually wrote the files as well. Are you referring to what once was Arcada with an upgrade to version 1.1 ? This may have later been Seagate. Cheyenne became Colorado, then HP. Some HP...
Which software package? Was this an upgraded W95box? An upgrade should have replaced the version of MSBackup if that is what you are using and there may be an update as well to W98's version. This does sound like a software compatibility problem. Make sure the tape isn't write protected by the...
I'm not sure where the driver for the T3000 actually comes from. It seems to be part of the software package quite often and whether that program is compatible with the operating system. At the risk of being blacklisted by MS, like the disappearance of Windows magazine, maybe she should consider...
