Is there a way to take one of the DID's and have it be a "backdoor" voicemail access? I would like to be able to access voicemail without someone picking up the phone and transferring me to 770.
Thanks!
Problem is, I'm out of analog ports...
Other issue is, how can I restrict this phone from getting an outside line?
I guess I'll program a button to auto-dial the extension I want, if I cant set it up as a hotline.
Hey all,
How do I set up a Hotline extension with a digital set? I have a door phone that is ia 4406D+ and I want it to automatically call a certain extension when picked up.
Thanks for any help!!
I do have a PRI for the outgoing and inbound calls.
I don't want the extensions themselves to be the ANI, I just want this:
Extensions 2200-2299, ANI: xxx-xxx-3535
Extensions 2700-2799, ANI: xxx-xxx-6530
So from what I'm reading, if I assign the 2200-2299 extensions to certain channels...
Is there any way to have the Outgoing Caller ID show up differently based on extension calling from?
The company I work for is a Township, but the phone system itself is not seperate, we share it. The caller ID is currently the number of the township, regardless of which extension it comes...
It turns out that what caused the problem was a 3rd extension that we were trying to program with the main POTS line. We apparently can't program a person's extension with the console operator lines, otherwise it does this transfer to voicemail stuff.
So I'm hoping when I get there tomorrow...
As far as I'm aware, all of the lines are assigned to a single pool. How can I assign lines to an unused adjunct? I'm a little new with Magix and Legend systems, I'm used to a Definity.
I need some help with this one...
I have 8 POTS lines that ring directly to two phones (on seperate line appearances).
After the system was powered down unexpectedly, these 8 POTS lines now forward to voicemail after 3 rings on the main console phones. Not only is it not supposed to do...
I am running an ERP application that relies on Local Windows user accounts. What I would like to do is have the local account reference the domain account somehow, (like you can do with WinXP, have a Domain Account setup locally), or have some sort of password sync between the local and domain...
Has anyone seen or know how to fix the Next-> softkey on the 8400 series phones? Right now I have to have a regular key programmed as the Next key so that people can go through the directory.
How do you have the power adapter in the closet and providing power to the phone? I currently have a bunch of 8434's that I'd like to do something like that with. Can one powersupply handle multiple phones?
It appears that disabling DFS helped my CA Brightstor Backups to work better, but the server still looses its network connection intermittantly. Its too wierd.
The NIC drivers were updated as part of my attempt to fix the problem before (I probably left that out of the original post). They are the latest drivers. I had also tried the internal built-in NIC, with the same results.
We do have the Insight management running, we'll probably try...
Unfortunately it doesnt have that Power Management tab.
I did find another posting on this type of problem, and it referenced turning the DFS service off. I have done that and so far it has not dropped off the network. Cross your fingers!!!
I dont see the option you are referring to.
Under Power Options in control panel, theres only one option and thats to power down the hard disks (which is set to Never of course).
I even tried turning Wake-On-Lan capabilities off to see if that made any difference, and it didnt.
Where...
I am at my wits end with this problem.
I have an HP ML570, loaded with dual proc's, lots of ram, etc. I also have an external PCI-X HP NIC card.
This machine is our main e-mail server (Exchange 2003).
For about 3-4 weeks now, this machine intermittantly drops off the network (cannot PING)...
I basically inherited a phone system at my company about a year ago when the phone admin was canned. I've been slowly working my way through all aspects of our Definity G3, as well as Audix and CAS. Now on to the Conversant.
Some of our vectors actually use the "converse-on" command. I'm...
