Or another way you can do this is to perform a warm reboot. This will will not distrupt any active calls. This will clear any active alarms. However. If there is a problem the alarm will reappear after it is tested my the maintenance software
I have never done this although i would imagine it would work some what 'seamlessly' if you can do it with Q-sig. Other wise u can only do a UDP with very little integration
You cannot replace it with a TN790B Although u can replace it with another TN790 and it will work just fine. The software load is all on the flash card it just has to match up with the right processor vitage.
