    Will be replacing a bad hard drive in a BCM 400 with 3.5 software. I want to do a complete system and callpilot back up first but have never done one before. Could sure use a little help and guidance. thank you !

    When u called the main number, what were u getting in error? Ring no answer? What I was getting was like u got the AA and pressed ** to check your messages asking u to add your extension and password to continue. Weird aay!

    u couldnt use the night service could u? Being that the AA picks up immediately.?? [F871} you'd lose the caller ID info if the caller transferred out to an extension?

    Thanks! If we set the Auto ATT to answer all calls we have to set the CLID to the VM ext. Then we have to set the AA to answer at 2 rings. The Recp phone 221 shows all 4 lines...... if i chg those lines to appear only so she wont hear the 2 rings before AA answers will the Caller ID still work...

    I am upgrading the Nam to 4.1 from 3.0 because we are upgrading the MICS software from Rls1-T1 to 5.0 and found that the VM upgrade is a must when u do that.     Is the Nam back up procedure to upgrade from 3.0 to 4.1 F915 p/w access 2 then insert 3x5 disk until it says complete. then F983 passwords then enter 22, go to back u, then insert disks until it says complete? Then replace the old drive with the new 4.1 drive. Thank you again.

    NAM Version required for MICS 7.1

    Nams are great. More features for a 3rd of the cost. At least the last time i looked they are asking big dollars even for a small 10 mailbox Call pilot. Than Nams are just big n bulky. and the Nam 4.1 is compatible with all Norstar software.

    if i understand this correctly.... if a receptionist answers all calls then tranfers them ........{and we have 5.0} we wouldnt need to upgrade to 6.1 because u say the caller ID is sent with the transferred call each time??
