Hans,
Here's how I fixed my Outlook Express "Remember Password" problem. It was just a setting that I could not figure out. These are the steps I followed:
Open Outlook Express
Tools
Accounts
Mail tab
Properties
Server tab
Type in your password
Check the "Remeber Password" box
Click Apply...
After reformatting my hard drive and reloading Outlook Express it forces me to type my password each time I log on and will not allow me to check the "Remember Password" box. What is the remedy?
Thanks,
wilsonpi

I finally figured out that because of where the virus attached itself to I had to disable the "restore" function so my AVG anti-virus program could find and eliminate the virus. Thanks to Carr and Kimber for all your help.

Kimber,

Kimber,
I am simply running a full anti-virus test. The file that AVG is telling me that is infected is unfamiliar and extremely long. I searched for the file but can not find it. I am still perplexed.

I keep getting a "Virus Identified--Win32/hantaner", etc. message from my AVG anti-virus program. AVG further instructs me to run a full test. I have run the test several times but it fails to find any virus. Any explanations or suggestions are welcome????? Thanks inadvance.
