even with windows 2003 you should still use wins..many apps depend on it
for that error if its possible restart the brwosing service.
set up WINS on a box if its possible

on the remote try and only put
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.1.1.2
on the main try and only put
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 sonic gateway
for your dhcp set it up like this
ip dhcp pool 1
network 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0
default-router 192.168.2.1

depends if your using a seperate csu/dsu device thats in between your router and ISp
or is it cleaned from the providor?
your using straight point to point T1 right?
which one is the dce or dte?
or does your router use a WIC ?
do the sh diag on the router

get on your 1720 router go to enable mode and type
