I need to investigate my BCM SIP negociation traces since we are experiecing some issues with our SIP trunks.
I downloaded the Diagnostics.zip file from our BCM and I am trying to read the FEPS.log file
Suprise.... there is a password...
I tried all my systems passwords and none of these...
We are having a weird problem over our phone network. We are losing the RTP (voice) when we reach the voicemail of a transferback call to the originating systems, the caller is getting (Air) instead of the voicemail message.
Setup is as followed;
Site A: BCM450 R6 MCDN & 8 Voip Trunk

...there a feature code or a programming feature to allow "anonymous" call over the SIP trunk.
I tried multiple ITSP (babyTEL, Cogeco, Voip.ms..) they all allow anonymous call.
Of course I tried *67 but it doesn't work and it must on demand, not be permanent.. like *6718005551212

Problem - An expansion cabinet is installed since a year and it keeps rebooting twice a day? we did replace the whole cabinet, MBM modules, power and cat5e cable? but we cannot figure out how to fix the problem.
Please help, on the expansion cabinet we have 3x DSM32 1x PRI 1x...
We got it to work.... Use the forward no answer (2 rings) to a group, removed all members from this group and play MoH on the overflow.... on each phone a pickup button has been created for that group so it can be picked up from any phone... that was so simple :-|
We're running a IPO 500 v2 R8.1
Basicaly, customer has 5 phones and a paging system, they want to hear 2 rings only and when they are free they will pickup the call from any available phones.

Is it possible to place a call automaticaly on hold after two or three rings (NO AAT INSTALLED). We tried the auto park feature, it was no longer ringing for the caller but all the company's phone was ringing.
This is pretty basic but cannot figure out how to set it.

We are experiencing a weird problem. Everytime the BCM450 reboots we are loosing our ASM module which are installed over the expansion cabinet.
That will occur on software reboot and cold reboot only, the way I use to bring it back is to unplug & replug the expansion cabinet once the BCM450 is...
It doesn't work, I bought two MCDN licences, it just cost me over 1600$, One for the 50 and one for the 450. I did configure MCDN in the routes parameters and on the IP Trunk (H323).

Current Setup is;
Site A > BCM450 with 4 IP Trunks
Site B > BCM50 with 4 IP Trunks
The problem is that all calls for Site B are being answered by the receptionist on site A(450), almost all of these calls are being returned to Site B, so it means that one call...
Is it possible on an ATA to setup call waiting for either I/C than incoming Lines.
Basically what I would need it to get the Beep Beep while we are oncall on an analog phone. I tried to remove DND on busy feature but it still says busy when I call the extension.

Sure... I tried that... files gets uploaded then it says fw writing ..... failed and it shows incompatible fw blocked
Is it possible that C8L is blocking downgrade... I even tried to revert it back to SIP 4.3 which worked fine, then tried unistim C6L but the SIP version gives me the same error...
