i have to create a button in my application, that uses javascript to copy and image to the clipboard (windows machine). Has anyone got any advice / sample code that would help achive this?

As embarresed as i am to admit this, i had the fan sitting the wrong way round. buggger. ah well. as soon as i got the fan clamped on, hey presto, bob's yer uncle, its alive!!

When i recived the computer, the heat sink and fan was literally lying outside the case. The peole who own it, have tried to turn it on without it being attahced. why? i dont know. I reatached the fan before attempting to turn it on.

Im trying to find out how to highlight the first character of text in a textbox (on a form). This is so that the cursor will appear to be a solid block (in overtype mode). Sounds odd, i know, but its a specific user request. any help would be appriciated.

i use javascript to populate a drop down from an object, problem is, my lists can run to 100's or 1000's of entries. This causes them to populate very slowly. i know from a user interface point of view, this is bad design,but my hands are tied to using drop downs. ill post an example...
