DN overlays in mixed CME SCCP/SIP environment

Sorted it. For some irritating reason, for proper SIP registration Cisco require the username to be the same as the number...! That being said, as I have CME7.1, I fixed the overlay problem using Single Number Reach. So for the incoming dial-peer, I simply added the following: mobility...

No Audio on sip trunking – UCM – Unity (Call Handler) – options

Sounds like a problem I had ages ago which was fixed by: voice service voip no supplementary-service sip moved-temporarily

DN overlays in mixed CME SCCP/SIP environment

Thanks - that makes sense. Unfortunately I can't test it though, as I uncovered a different problem registering SIP endpoints - once I set them to "register & receive incoming calls" I get a 404 error, which does happen if this is not set (whereupon I can successfully make outbound calls)...

DN overlays in mixed CME SCCP/SIP environment

Hi All - perhaps you can help? We have an existing CME SCCP on 2811 running 7960's/7970's. We use incoming SIP trunks to ephone-dn's and overlay these to multiple phones (so multiple users can see the incoming line ring). All fine. Now adding a couple of SIP clients, most notably iPhones...

SCCP phone across VPN to CME

I have tried and tested and now have a remote SCCP phone! Many thanks for your contributions. I also noticed that if you simply change the TFTP server on a SIP 7960 to the CME then restart the phone it has the same effect - flashing the phone into SCCP and configuring it. br

SCCP phone across VPN to CME

Thanks - and yes - there are DNS servers at both sites. Does anyone know more about this option?

SCCP phone across VPN to CME

All, Our 2811 is running CME (SCCP) successfully with many 7960s/7970s, and we now have a remote office online via a router-router VPN. CME is 10.0.0.1 and remote office is 10.0.1.x. How do I get remote 7960's at 10.0.1.x to come up on CME at 10.0.0.1. As the MAC address is used by CME, I seem...

    Cisco CME - Skype Integration

All, Currently have a mixed SCCP/SIP CME implementation. Looking to have incoming Skype calls as a ephone-dn (so I can map it to a number of handsets), and outbound Skype calls (via a dialling prefix). Aim is to provide a free-Skype dial-in number of international callers. Has anyone...

Using Asterisk as voicemail for CCME4 - need Cisco config

Am at the final hurdle with CME4-Asterisk and have hit a snag re: call-forwarding on no-answer: - for an e-phone-dn that relates to a true POTS line (ie. FXO) - all works fine. - for an e-phone-dn that relates to a SIP account, after the timeout period (ie. call-forward noan 123 timeout 20)...

    Call-forward for dial-peers in CME4

Sorted this one myself - don't do it at the dial-peer, do it under the ephone-dn. Obvious really...

    Call-forward for dial-peers in CME4

Everyone, We're currently working up an Asterisk vmail config - but have hit a (seemingly trivial snag). Perhaps you can help? We use Shared Lines extensively, such that a single user can see multiple POTS and SIP incoming lines. For this reason, configuring a single Voicemail pilot number at...

Using Asterisk as voicemail for CCME4 - need Cisco config

That was a helpful link - thanks. Actually it was so helpful it sort of diverted me from SIP trunks to a pre-requisite something else I've been hankering after for a while - mixed SCCP and SIP client support. Simple - just take one working SCCP CME and add the following lines: voice register...

Using Asterisk as voicemail for CCME4 - need Cisco config

Hi, My 2811 image is the c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-11.T.bin which is pretty full featured and current. Any chance you could post me a link to a sample config, hopefully with specific regard to Asterix with vmail (as I seem unsuccessful in finding these?). Appreciate your help. br/

Using Asterisk as voicemail for CCME4 - need Cisco config

Hi Everyone, Have CCME4 on a 2811 working just fine using SCCP, but need voicemail. Have Asterisk, which my colleague can configure, but cannot find any published configs for the Cisco end of things (have seen lots for asterisk though). Does anyone have such a config they could post - I think...

Cisco multi-site VPN - baseline config

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get together a baseline config to VPN multiple 2811's into a central 2811. Tried SDM, but it seemed to insert way too much unnecessary stuff. Does anyone have the core lines for the remote sites and the cores for say just pre-shared key, with user authentication on...

    VIC-2FXS not recognised by 2811

Hi, My Vic2-2fxo arrived this morning, and worked within seconds with the most basic of configs - most interestingly without any of the NM cards you mentioned. I think your reference may be in relation to 2600s as opposed to 2800s, but that's just a guess. In any case, I'm now scouring for the...

    VIC-2FXS not recognised by 2811

Now that's interesting... I don't have any of the above in my 2811, but I so have a VIC2-2FXO working quite successfully in a WIC slot. Are you sure I need the NM? (It was only after you previous reply that I noticed my working FXO card was a VIC2... oops).

    VIC-2FXS not recognised by 2811

Hi Minue - thanks - that has to be one of the fastest responses on record! Looks like I need to go buy a VIC2-2FXO. Shame - as I wanted to test a snazzy Siemens Gigaset SL565 with SMS using Call Manager Express after a few beers this evening... br/bosseye

Using an FXS port for a door intercom

Friends, We have a site with a 2811 running CME, and 16 7960's around the place. Our office has an intercom at the entry gate, which has a dedicated handset in the foyer. Has anyone found a way of connecting this intercom handset into a Cisco FXS port, so that when a caller presses the ringer...
