I'll also need to know where to import the list. I've found a place in users that allows me to export a list but there is no import option and the list only has usernames on it.
I'm about to format our Windows Server 2003 box and I need to know if there is an easy way to save the usernames/passwords that are used to connect to the server. It's a stand alone server not on active directory.
I've noticed recently that my network can't get to a few websites. When I try to browse or ping that site it says not available. However, when I change the DNS address on my PC from our DNS server to one of SBC's DNS servers I can browse and ping the site just fine.
I've checked our DNS...
All the other DCs are checked as Global Catalogs and all the clients are pointed to the PDC as their DNS server. The PDC is also the DNS/WINS server. However, along the lines of Global Catalogs, I tried to delete a user account and make a new one and it gives me an error that says that it...
I'm having a very difficult time with our Active Directory Forest. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Here is what has happened so far:
Our primary domain controller and master operator server crashed and burned with no recovery possible. The backups that we had apparently were...
I am having a very strange occurance happen on my network. All (or the vast majority) of our computers aren't remembering their mapped drives. Almost every morning we have to go around and reset the mapped drives. I has been verified that the Reconnect at logon checkbox has been checked. I...

And an opinion I agree with 100%. Unfortunately, I don't get the last say on expenditures. I figure that with a few more catastropes one of 2 things will happen. He'll wisen up and get the protection needed. Or he'll get so frustrated and fire me which will allow me to get a job at a company...

I have a virus pounding my front end router. It is consistantly running at 99%. Is there a way for me to see the actual TCP/IP address of the offending computer(s) by view a traffic log of some sort? Having to scan 500+ computers is not a cost effective course of action. Thanks.
